A Note From the Founder
My name is Scott, and I created Independence Answers to do one simple thing, provide answers.
Throughout my professional life, I have worked with children, families, caregivers, and professionals navigating situations that can feel unfamiliar, complicated, or overwhelming. One thing I have learned is that people are often expected to understand important parts of everyday life without anyone taking the time to explain them clearly.
People have questions, but they do not always know where to look for trustworthy answers. Some questions feel too small to bring to a professional. Others may feel embarrassing to ask a friend or family member. Often, people simply need someone to explain what to expect and help them identify the next step.
I created Independence Answers to provide that kind of guidance: practical, respectful, easy to understand, and available whenever someone needs it.
I do not believe independence means knowing how to do everything by yourself. Independence means having access to the information, skills, resources, and support that help you make decisions and move forward with greater confidence.
That is what I hope this site provides for you.
